Patrick Hurley, Managing Director
Patrick founded MidMarket Capital Advisors after serving as head of Fleet M&A Advisors Philadelphia office. He previously served as Partner and Director of M&A for Howard, Lawson & Company, which was acquired in 2000 through a series of transactions and became the M&A unit of FleetBoston’s capital markets group. Patrick originally joined Howard, Lawson in 1979 and held positions of increasing responsibility. He holds an MBA from Drexel University, a BBA from Temple University and is a NASD Registered Securities Principal.
Mr. Hurley is the former Chairman of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) which has 11,400 members in 48 chapters throughout North America and Europe. He also serves on the board of directors of American Refining Group, Inc. and the Family Firm Institute.
Graeme Howard, Managing Director
In addition to serving as a Managing Director at MidMarket, with direct responsibility for guiding client engagements, Graeme also manages various investments and handles international activities.
Graeme was a principal of the Corporate Finance Institute and IPO Vital Signs, an advance IPO research analysis tool. He founded Howard, Lawson & Company in 1972. He also is a former vice chairman of Monster Worldwide. Graeme holds an L.L.B. from Yale Law School and a BA from Amherst College and served as a navigational officer in the U.S. Air Force.
Katherine Myers, Partner
Ms. Myers has held positions with the Philadelphia-based law firm Cozen & O’Connor, focusing on corporate insurance litigation and research. She graduated from Boston University.
Her other previous experience includes research team positions at the Drexel University College of Medicine producing results for GlaxoSmithKline and she served as Chief Operations Manager for an international humanitarian medical non-profit.
